If you are having routine blood tests, you won't hear the results unless there is something we need to follow up.

If you are having more specialist / detailed tests, or a scan like an XRay or ultrasound scan, you will be told the results of these.  Results for some investigations can take up to a few weeks to come back to us, so there may be a delay in hearing your results.

If you would like to know the results of a routine blood test, please contact reception at least 1 week after your test was done and if the doctor has checked the result they will be able to tell you the result.  Please try to contact us in the middle of the day, to minimise delays on the phonelines.

We are able to offer examinations for some DVLA and marine forms, as well as some other health-related forms, but please contact reception to check as there are some forms we are unable to complete.

Some events request a medical approval for participation, but we are unable to provide an opinion on whether a person is fit to compete in a certain activity eg a marathon.

GP surgeries no longer provide travel health advice or vaccinations.  This is now provided by certain pharmacies.  Check this page for local pharmacies that provide this service.
